Careers at Samak
We are not actively hiring right now. This page explains the kind of team and operating standard behind Samak, and we will update it when we reopen roles.
Small teams, direct responsibility, and visible product impact
Work spans teacher tools, student workflows, school operations, and admin systems
We value judgment, reliability, pace, and follow-through over résumé theater
Why join Samak
This is not a company where you maintain a cosmetic feature and disappear into a giant org chart. The work here is close to the product, close to user outcomes, and close to the operational reality of schools and teachers.
You join Samak to build software that must actually hold up in weekly educational workflows. That means decisions matter, details matter, and your ability to simplify complexity matters.
If you like environments where product thinking, implementation quality, and accountability are tightly connected, you will likely enjoy the work here.
How we work
We prefer small teams with clear owners, short feedback loops, and direct communication. We want people who write clearly, think concretely, and improve the system rather than create noise around it.
Across product, design, operations, and engineering, we expect people to care about the full outcome: whether a teacher can use the feature quickly, whether a manager can trust the data, whether a student experience stays coherent, and whether the product still behaves predictably under growth.
Speed matters, but fake speed is expensive. We would rather ship clean, durable improvements than accumulate fragile shortcuts that the team pays for later.
What you may work on
Depending on your role, you may work on teacher workflows, content systems, student progress surfaces, organization management, analytics, billing-adjacent product areas, support operations, or go-to-market execution.
The common thread is simple: we build product capabilities that help education teams operate with more confidence and less manual overhead.
The roadmap is active. There is room here to shape new product areas, tighten existing workflows, and raise the overall standard of execution across the platform.
What we look for
We look for people who combine craft with judgment. That means you can make good calls with imperfect information, communicate tradeoffs directly, and produce work that is both useful and durable.
We value people who stay close to the actual problem, welcome accountability, and know how to improve quality without becoming slow or ceremonial.
Experience in education technology is useful, but seriousness, clarity, and execution discipline matter more than buzzwords.
